Basic Waxing Course – AIT Accredited

Our Basic Waxing Course is designed to give you a strong foundation in professional waxing, combining flexible online learning with hands-on, in-person practical training. This course is AIT accredited, fully insurable, and ideal for beginners or those looking to add waxing to their existing beauty skills.

Course Structure

Online Theory (Mandatory – Completed First)
All students must complete the online theory module before attending any practical training days.
This allows you to learn at your own pace and ensures you arrive confident and prepared for hands-on work.

Practical Training – In Person

• Day 1: Strip Wax Practical (Full Day)
  A full day of practical training focusing on strip waxing techniques, correct application, removal, hygiene, and client care.

• DAY 1 – STRIP WAXING (Full Day) 27th April 2026 9.30-4.30

  Areas Covered: Legs, Arms, Underarms, Bikini & Facial Wax

  10:30 – 11:00	Demonstration – Full leg strip waxing. Student practical 1/2leg
  12:00 – 1:00	Lunch
  1:00 – 2:00	Student practical – Upper Legs & arms
  2:00 – 3:00	Demonstration – Bikini & underarm & lip & sides of face strip wax
  3:00 – 4:30	Student practical – Bikini, underarm & facial lip & sides of face strip waxing

  Model Required for full day and is required to have all areas waxed

• Day 2: Hot Wax Practical (Half Day)
  A dedicated half-day practical covering hot wax application, removal, and best practices for more sensitive areas.

• DAY 2 – HOT WAX (Half Day) 11th May 2026 10-1.30pm

  Areas Covered: Bikini, Underarms & Face

  Model Required for full time and is required to get all areas waxed

Assessment Day (Half Day – Booked Separately)
Once you feel confident and ready, you will return for a half-day assessment.
During this session, you will be evaluated on your practical skills and professional standards.

DAY 3 – FINAL ASSESSMENT (Half Day) 2nd June 10-1pm

Model Required for the full time and must have hair to be waxed on all areas

Upon successful evaluation, you will receive your AIT Accredited Certificate, which is fully insurable, allowing you to work professionally as a wax technician.
