Foil Must Haves

Get Foiled - Cure for 2 minutes in the Magpie LED lamp

This gel is intended for abstract foil designs. This gel is will not allow for a full foil nail transfer.

Full Foiled - Cure for 60 second to 2 minutes in the Magpie LED lamp

This gel is intended for full foil nail transfer designs. Cure this gel longer if the transfer foil has a firmer transfer paper backing. The gel gets stickier the longer it is cured.

Basic Application techniques

For an abstract transfer design, use a quick motion: firmly press the foil to the sticky layer and pull away quickly. Repeat until the desired design is achieved. Finish with your favorite Magpie Top Coat.
For a full foil transfer design: cut a piece of transfer foil big enough to fit the nail plate. Gently lay the foil to the nail and swipe the middle to 'adhere' the loose piece of foil. Rub gently from the middle out to the sides, being sure to press the edges down. Continue rubbing until the transfer foil releases from the transfer paper. Once you remove the transfer paper, gently file the free edge to create a slight grit for the finish gel to grab onto. Finish the nail with a layer of your favorite Magpie Top Coat, being sure to cap the free edge.
